  • sharing the struggle

    began February 4, 2018

Nothing worthwhile is easy. Nowhere is this more true than when we follow Jesus with our whole selves. Paul knew this personally and his experiences gave him a deeply wise perspective on suffering. In these words we can learn patience, faith, and integrity—especially when times are tough.

    January 7 to 28, 2018

Ever been tempted to go it alone? We all probably have. But sooner or later we realize that simply doesn’t work. In these opening words of Paul’s letter to the Philippian Christians, we hear his heart for the church and his firm conviction that life in Jesus is meant to be lived in vital connection with other believers.

  • new life in christ

    December 31, 2017

As we look to the new year, we will explore several passages from God's Word that will help us recognize and celebrate the new life we have, both in eternity and in our earthly lives, as a result of our salvation in Jesus Christ.

  • His Name shall be called ...

    December 3 to 24, 2017

The prophet Isaiah saw far ahead that the birth of Jesus would mean we could get to know God more fully and deeply as “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”   There’s lots of power and truth in these titles.  And Jesus can be all these to us.  That’s the real miracle of Christmas.

  • Worship matters

    October 15, 2017 to November 26, 2017

In this series we’re examining worship from every angle.  What is it?  Why is worship important?  And how do we do it?  We’ll blow away some stereotypes and wrong ideas and dig deeply in to the truth of what it means to worship the God of all the universe with everything we are.

    August 27, 2017 to October 8, 2017

How We Can Restore Faith in Our Faith.  We’ve been hacked. For a couple of generations now, people have been getting some wrong ideas about American Christianity because our faith has been hijacked by forces and philosophies and influences that miss the point at best and turn countless people off of Jesus at worst.

We’re going to tackle six such hacks with the goal that 1) our worldviews are challenged as we ask ourselves, have I been hacked? and 2) we better represent our faith and rescue it from false ideas.
