Haitian Christian Outreach
Haiti
Haitian Christian Outreach (HCO) was founded in 1985 by RoRo and Eline Eustache. They planted the first Emmanuel Christian Church in Downtown Port-au-Prince—a step of faith that would change not only their lives but the lives of hundreds in the years to come. Since 1985, HCO has planted eight Emmanuel Christian Churches, opened six Emmanuel Christian Schools that educate 1,600+ students each year, built the Peredo Community Hospital - a multi-specialty hospital, and focused on multiple community development projects. Our mission statement is to do something in Haiti that will last! Our goal is to evangelize, equip, empower, and encourage our communities using a biblical model of ministry. HCO is building generations of new believers through work in four primary areas. We call these our four pillars of the ministry: church planting, education, health care, and community development.
Because of your support, children are learning in our schools, families are receiving care at the Peredo Community Hospital, and local churches are sharing the hope of Christ across communities in Haiti. You’re now part of a story that’s been unfolding for more than 40 years — one of faith, perseverance, and lasting change.
Felipe and Valerie Colby
Honduras
Felipe and Valerie have lived in Honduras since 2000, working with His Eyes, a mission based in the capital city of Tegucigalpa. His Eyes tries to see the world the way Jesus did, body and soul, serving through a multi faceted clinic in Tegucigalpa, eight church plants around the country, two coffee farms, a children's after school ministry reaching under and malnourished children with six different sites and over 250 children (called The Milk Project), and hosting short term teams that help in all of these areas. In addition, there is a distribution of food and clothing, and pastoral/leadership conferences on a regular basis for long-term leadership development.
Caranita Wolsieffer
Italy
Jim Wolsieffer attended Oaklandon Christian Church (before it became Outlook), while Caranita was a member of Greenwood Christian Church. The two first met at Camp Allendale when Jim was 12 and Caranita was 11. Both went on to graduate from Johnson University, where they later received the Distinguished Alumni Award in 2014. In 1971, they founded the Italy for Christ Mission, which fostered church growth throughout southern Italy through innovative ministries such as youth rallies, church camps, a radio station, and a family life center. On October 29, 2022, Jim exchanged his temporary crown of thorns for his eternal crown of life. He is remembered for his unwavering faith, steadfast commitment, and deep integrity. Today, Caranita and their daughter, Stephany, have carried forward his legacy by transforming Italy for Christ into Recrea Mission—a unique, Christ-centered mental health center located in the heart of Francavilla Fontana, Italy, at the heel of the boot. Their ministry now reaches throughout Italy, Europe, and the Middle East, continuing the Wolsieffers’ lifelong mission to share Christ’s love in transformative ways.
Missions of Hope International
Nairobi, Kenya
Outlook works closely with Missions of Hope in the Korogocho slum of Nairobi, Kenya, one of the largest and most densely populated slums in the world. Along with The Creek Christian Church and East 91st Street Christian Church, we sponsor the Grogan School, which is home to nearly 800 students in nursery through 6th grade. These local churches make regular trips to serve at Grogan and are providing the majority of the funding for construction of a planned expanded school and neighborhood center. Many Outlookers also sponsor children at Grogan and other schools through MOHI’s child sponsorship program.
Missions of Hope is transforming the Korogocho community by:
Providing education, clothing, and nutritious meals for the poorest children in the village through the child sponsorship program.
Offering a strong Community Health Evangelism (CHE) program, including the ongoing training of the CHE evangelists
Teaching HIV/AIDS awareness and education, as well as instruction on caring for those living with this disease
Offering basic health and wellness education
Supporting churches, offering family counseling, and religious education
David and Katka Roney
Latvia
From a young age, David felt God’s calling toward youth ministry while attending Outlook Christian Church. After serving as an intern in Czech and Croatia, his desire grew to see young leaders equipped in Europe. In 2011, he moved to Latvia to serve with Josiah Venture, where he led the camp ministry for many years. Katka, like many other young people in Czech, first came in contact with Josiah Venture through English camps. A one-week camp during high school was life-changing; Katka accepted Christ as her Savior and began her journey as his disciple. In 2004, she joined Josiah Venture as full-time staff. In the summer of 2015, Katka moved from Czech to Latvia and joined the Josiah Venture team there. As they served together, David and Katka fell in love and married. In May 2020, God blessed them with twins Timothy and Hannah. David and Katka stepped into leading the JV Latvia team in the spring of 2024, and they desire to see young leaders and youth ministries look more like Jesus. They also serve together in a local youth ministry in Riga.
