JUNE 19-30, 2024

For over a decade we’ve been serving with our partners in Kenya, Missions of Hope International. We’ll provide a super-fun VBS program for the hundreds of students at our partner school in the Grogan neighborhood of Nairobi’s Mathare Valley, one of the world’s most impoverished areas. We’ll spend time with sponsored kids, visit homes, attend a local worship service, and wrap up our time at the beautiful Nairobi Game Park. We will have an informational meeting for this trip on Sunday, Feb. 4 at 4:30 p.m. in room 109.

JULY 28-AUG. 5, 2024

In connection with our partners in Kenya, Missions of Hope International, this trip will be led by Doug and Robyn Priest, who lived in Africa for many years and who have led many trips to Kenya (Doug is an elder and Robyn was a minister at Outlook for many years.) We will tour our partner school and spend time with staff, meet sponsored children, interact with school children on field trips, visit the skills training center, and check out the world famous Nairobi Game Park and other local sites of interest. This trip will include nice food and accommodations, and set a friendly pace. We will have an informational meeting for this trip on Sunday, March 3 at 11:45 a.m. in room 109.

We are happy to be getting back to serve our long-time partners in Honduras, His Eyes. This mission is open for both students and adults to apply. We’ll do some light construction, distribute clothing, provide a VBS-like experience for children, attend a local worship service, and enjoy a little sightseeing too. We will have an informational meeting for this trip on Sunday, Feb. 18 at 5 p.m. in the Student Loft for adults and students interested in learning more.
