Let’s be a blessing to our community!

Thanksgiving Bags

Thank you! Your generosity provided Thanksgiving meals to 147 families in our community!

Help families in need experience the love of Christ this Thanksgiving by contributing to our Thanksgiving Bag project. We invite you to pick up a bag in the Commons and fill it up with the items from the shopping list – and any extras you want to add. We will add turkeys and pies!

  • We work with local schools to identify families in need, and provide these families with everything they need for a full Thanksgiving meal. We will then distribute the meals to the schools to be handed out to families before Thanksgiving break. Don’t have time to shop? We are also accepting monetary donations to offset the cost of the turkeys and pies.

Operation Christmas Child

Thank you! Your generosity provided gifts to 339 children around the world!

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.

Christmas Store

Thank you! Your generosity served 123 families who shopped for 486 children!

You’re invited to donate new toys and games for children from infants through high school. You can drop items off at Outlook or order items online to be delivered to Outlook by Dec. 10. There are also many opportunities to serve in the store on Saturday, Dec. 16 or to help set up during the prior week.

  • One of the ways we love to bless others at Christmas is by operating a “Christmas Store” for selected families in the neighborhoods near Post Road and 42nd Street. For $5, parents can shop at the store and select a hat, gloves, two toys, a game, and miscellaneous small presents for their kids. We then wrap the gifts and the parents take them home and put them under the tree for their kids as gifts *from the parents.*

By allowing parents to shop for their children rather than simply giving away gifts, the Christmas Store concept not only ensures that these children will get to experience the joy of receiving presents at Christmas, it also allows parents to have more input on the gifts their children will receive and to have the joy of being the ones who actually give the gifts to their children. This is an incredible opportunity for us to serve those in need in a way that honors them, respects their dignity, and opens doors for us to build relationships and share the love of Christ.

Global Giving Tree

Nov. 26-Dec. 31

Our global giving tree will be in the Commons loaded with “ornaments” that identify needs and opportunities of our global missionary partners. We invite you to take an ornament from the tree and follow the directions on it to send support and make amazing things happen for people all over the world!
